Layered curtain fringe Take notes ✔️ Layered Curtain Fringe crafted by @shannelmariano ✂️ ⠀ Section Triangular section. For a thicker fringe, go farther back the head. For a thinner fringe, go closer to the hairline. ⠀ ⠀ Step 1 Cut it to the desired overall length. ⠀ Step 2 Cut a guide for the desired shortest length. ⠀ TIP: Allow for extra length for refinement and knowing hair will appear shorter after styling. ⠀ Step 3 Connect the dots. Cut a line connecting the short piece to the length. Do this while lifting the hair up. Lifting the hair up will create layers (give texture). ⠀ Step 4 Refine & Style ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ What if the client has thin hair and you need to make it look thicker? Connect the dots at natural fall. ❤️ ⠀ What if the client want the curtain fringe to be beveled? Connect the dots at an elevation where the hair will be shorter on the bottom and longer on top. ❤️ (The elevation in the video caused it to be shorter on top and longer on the bottom, which gave it texture.) ⠀ ⠀ #hairbrained #crafthairdresser CutsJoe Jones29 August 2020Comment 0 Likes
